If you either know English or German, you will find this video great for you to learn new German or English words more permanently as they support each other. There are three main ways to guess the words between English and German:
Way 1: The obvious ones such as gut-good, rot-red,
Way 2: The ones you need to focus more: brot-bread, sehen-see,
Way 3: More challenging but more entertaining ones that you can guess by translating the prefixes, suffixes and roots directly: aus (ex-, out) + schluss (clud/clus/close)= exclusion, or ver (pro) + sehen (see, vid)= provide
